Left my print on the sand, land.
Steps notches in time.
Line not so straight.
Fate sometimes great.
Never late, always on time…

A time line not so straight. Nice.

Fate heeds no time line…. Time is abstract, existence questioned, and measures of it seem to rule our days. Not the easiest topic. lol Like how your poem goes out of line, so to speak. Glad you could join us today. Nice work.

Ah, fate, the inescapable…the line we walk from birth to death. It is time. It is action. It is certainty. But is it real? Do our steps follow the line, or can they step out of line from time to time? Questions people have asked from the beginning…and always fun to address. Thanks for partaking and getting me thinking; and I quite agree with Claudia and Adam here – I like the structure. Right as the time goes out of line…so too the poem, into the centers rides.

What else are we to do but walk that fine line? Loved the little movement between stanzas here

Always we must follow the time line, yet all too often it steers us about in various directions… always lending to course.

Aahh…well said, Nicole!! Somehow, fate/destiny and time itself are never late!! And yet they have this amazing capacity to stray us off the course (but then again, it’s all part of the grand plan anyway… isn’t it?! :))
(sigh)… you have narrated the story of a lifetime.. in such few words!! Bravo!!
